KM Conference 2019, Social Event - Saturday, 29 June 2019, Warsaw, Poland

On Saturday, June 29th, 2019, we will have the KM 2019 Conference Social Event tour. The day will start with a walking tour from the Regent Warsaw Hotel to the beautiful grounds and surrounding breath-taking gardens of the Royal Lazienki-Krolewskie Palace, known as the Lazienki Park. We will have an English speaking graduate student who will start the day with us to provide us general information and introduce some initial key interest points of the 18th-century spectacular gardens. Around 10am, the group will be split into two smaller groups (due to limitations from the Royal Lazienki-Krolewskie Palace), where one group will join our English speaking guide into an hour tour of the Royal Lazienki-Krolewskie Palace (entrance tickets included), while the other half will enjoy relaxing times in the park and royal gardens and free to roam the wonderful gardens, take pictures, enjoy coffee break or even take a gondola ride (separate fee). Then around 11am, the groups will switch and the second group will join our English speaking guide for tour of the palace, where the other group will enjoy relaxed time in the park. At noon, the bus will pick up us up for a short ride to the Warsaw Old Town area where we will first stop for lunch, and then continue for a walking tour with our English speaking guide. There we will walk through the Old Town with some free time. Finally, the bus we will take us back to the hotels (first stop in Regent Warsaw Hotel, second in Best Western Hotel Portos + START hotels).

We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes, hat, and bring a bottle of water with you!

*** It is required that all conference attendees also register their family members/guests to ensure they are counted for the social event. Thank you for understanding.
