KM Conference 2021, Social Event

On Friday, July 2nd, 2021, we will have the KM2021 Conference Social Event conducted online due to the world COVID19 pandemic. The day will be filled with cooking demonstrations and uplifting music, socializing moments, jokes, and relaxing time. We will start the day by meeting at the Germany Ballroom, where we will meet for short socializing moments and get together to reflect on the prior two days. We will then start about an hour of cooking session by Professor Ingo Siegert, who will be our Master Chef guiding us on how to prepare the delicious Altmärkische Wedding Soup and German Meatballs in White Sauce with Capers (Authentic German food). We will then take a break to enjoy our freshly cooked authentic German food with wine/beer/water as well as some music and dancing led by Joanna Santiago, who will be our Maestro guiding us how to appreciate uplifting music even during a world pandemic. Then, we will move to our second cooking session for about an hour led by Dr. Wilnelia Hernandez and Dr. Eliel Melon, who will be our Master Chefs for the second cook-along session guiding us on how to prepare some Puertorican flavors, including: Mofongo (vegetarian style) and the famous Piña Colada drink (that we all need after the several intensive KM2021 days... :o) Finally, we will end our social event day with a great celebration enjoying our delicious food (+ leftover meatballs?) with wine/beer/water as well as some relaxing music.

We recommend that you prepare ahead of time all the ingredients and the cooking utilities needed for the two cooking sessions, along with happy spirit and your choice of wine/beer/water.
