About Siena

Pisa International Airport (PSA) - Galileo Galilei Airport, is located about 130 km (80 miles) from Siena. It has many international flights from European cities and some intercontinental connections. Train and bus connections to Siena are about 2.5 hours. Taxi or Car rental ride is about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) - Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, is located about 230 km (143 miles) from Siena. It is a major international airport with flights from around the world. Train and bus connections to Siena are about 3-4 hours. Taxi or Car rental ride is about 3 hours.
How to Book Transportation from / to Airports

TrenItalia:
To reach Siena by train, take a train from Florence Airport (FLR) or Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) to Florence's Santa Maria Novella station or Rome's Termini station, respectively. Then, transfer to a regional train to Siena. From Pisa Airport (PSA), take a train to Florence and then transfer to a regional train to Siena. Train schedules and tickets are available on Trenitalia's website. The journey takes around 2-4 hours, depending on the route and connections. Check Google Maps for options.

Bus:
To reach Siena by bus, take a bus from Florence Airport (FLR) or Pisa Airport (PSA) to Siena's Piazza Gramsci or Piazza del Sale. Companies like Tiemme SpA, SITA, and FlixBus operate bus services from these airports. From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), take a bus to Siena's Piazza Gramsci with companies like Tiemme SpA or FlixBus. The journey takes around 2.5-4 hours, depending on traffic and the route. Taxi:
To reach Siena by Taxi, we have collaborated with TAXI SIENA who are happy to book your transfer from any of the following airports or city centers (Cita Centro) as noted in the table below with the prices for the taxi transferes:

Rates include VAT, one luggage bag per person, and one rolling bag per person. Additional cost may apply.
To book your taxi in advance (at least 10 days in advance), please:
1) all requests must be sent by email to the following address: segreteria@taxisiena.it
2) The email must indicate:
- The day, time and flight number;
- The route From: ________. To: ______;
- Name and surname with a telephone number of the customer/traveler (preferably WhatsApp mobile number).
3) The transfer request must be made at least 10 days in advance
4) For confirmation, non-refundable advance payment is required via link (that will be provided over the email from the Taxi Siena) for credit card payment.
5) at the end of the payment we will issue an invoice in favor of:
- Company name or Name and surname of the custome
- nationality, city and name of the street
- We will issue a single invoice for each transfer

Car Rental:
To reach Siena by rental car, pick up your vehicle at the airport and follow the highway to Siena. From Florence Airport (FLR), take the A11 and A1 highways. From Pisa Airport (PSA), take the A12 and A1 highways. Note that highway tolls will apply and you can pay it using major credit cards. From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), take the A1 highway. The journey takes around 2-3 hours, depending on traffic. Be aware of local traffic rules and parking restrictions in Siena's historic center. Check Google Maps for options.
