About the University of Geneva:University of Geneva is a public research university located in Geneva, Switzerland. It was founded in 1559 by John Calvin as a theological seminary. It remained focused on theology until the 17th century, when it became a center for enlightenment scholarship. Today, it is the third largest university in Switzerland with 20,000 students, nine faculties and 13 interdisciplinary centers such as CUI. It provides over 500 programs at all levels covering an extremely wide variety of fields. |
About the Centre Universitaire d’Informatique (CUI):Founded in 1976, CUI was the first interfaculty center for computer science in Switzerland. It federates teaching, research and innovation in digital sciences across six faculties covering computer science, economics, management, social sciences, linguistics, medicine, psychology and education science. It is home to about 200 researchers, three curriculums at all levels, about 40 research projects with internal (Seven MCHF) and external (5 MCHF) funding. ![]() |
